S. Narayana Raju.
Dear Viewers, Scholars, Students, and Devotees,
A warm and heartfelt welcome to Prof. S. V. S. S.
Narayana Raju's YouTube Channel, dedicated to the study and appreciation of
Hindi language, literature, Indian Knowledge Systems, spiritual wisdom, and
timeless human values.
In today's enlightening episode, we explore Ayodhya
Kand, Pad 111 of Goswami Tulsidas's Sri Ramcharitmanas, which beautifully
portrays the divine essence of love, compassion, humility, and spiritual
fulfilment.
In these deeply moving verses, Lord Sri Rama
embraces His beloved brother Bharata with overwhelming affection. The divine
reunion is compared to a poor man unexpectedly discovering the precious
philosopher's stone (Parasmani), symbolizing immeasurable happiness and
spiritual enrichment.
Goswami Tulsidas further describes this sacred
meeting as though Love (Prema) and the Supreme Spiritual Goal (Paramartha) have
assumed human forms and embraced each other. This extraordinary poetic image
reveals the inseparable relationship between selfless devotion and ultimate
spiritual realization.
The episode teaches us that true greatness lies not
in worldly power, wealth, or authority, but in unconditional love, humility,
sacrifice, righteousness, and devotion. The sacred relationship between Sri
Rama and Bharata represents the highest ideals of brotherhood, family harmony,
moral responsibility, and Indian cultural values.
Through this presentation, we shall examine the
literary beauty, philosophical significance, devotional sentiment, and enduring
relevance of these immortal verses, particularly in the context of the Indian
Knowledge Tradition and value-based education.
This lecture will also be valuable for students
preparing for UGC NET Hindi, postgraduate examinations, research studies, and
competitive examinations.

Goswami Tulsidas and discover how true love becomes the pathway to spiritual
excellence and universal harmony.
